As a student many, many moons ago (before Airbus had flown), I worked for Aerospatiale at Toulouse during the Concorde test programme. At that time both Aerospatiale and BAC operated regular flights between Toulouse and Filton on which I was fortunate to be able to hitch rides on a few occasions. Aerospatiale operated Nord 262 and BAC used HS125. No prizes for guessing which was favourite - the Nord had been known to take up to 4 hours!!
