Did you try BA Cityflyer ?
They are recruiting right now and it's a very nice place to be. The pay might not be the most attractive but you get to fly a nice plane : Embraer 170.
They have a pretty straight forward recruiting process and offer a base in London and possibly (but not sure) Edinburgh !
