I cut my teeth a long time ago on a governor-less 269c and then owned a share in a 269a, again without governor so I didn't really need to adapt to the Rotorway. Similarly one just takes in their stride the opposite m/r rotation differences and right skid low attitude etc.
The Australian Rotorway guys do a 3 hour range option, but it's not allowed here and I believe even Rotorway aren't that keen either...
Over here you can have a Helipac fitted between the skids, and carry some spare fuel in that
