I don't know about the 800, but on the A320, the approach is at a body angle of 2.5 to 3 degrees nose up. As for the actual landing technique I start to reduce power at 50 ft and power is idle at 30 ft. Then at aprox 15 to 10 ft, increase nose up attitude to 6 degrees and hold that till touchdown. This results in little float and a good landing.
