Kernowclown,

From internal ezy pilot mail:

"To recap, we are looking to select and assess pilots to create a holding pool of A320 type rated pilots that possess a full ATPL to support our growing command requirements as well as ensuring that we retain a diverse age and experience profile to meet our future pilot requirements."

And

"Parc Aviation experienced pilot assessments - On Tuesday and Wednesday this week we completed the first of the planned Parc experienced pilot assessment centres (Day 1 – non tech skills, Day 2 simulator). The Parc pilots reaching our assessment centres had already been through a rigorous selection process by Parc before being offered to us for assessment. I am pleased to say that the majority of pilots that met us this week went on to successfully pass both the behavioural and sim assessments. They will now be offered a Parc contract to fly for us as experienced FlexiCrew pilots in the New Year. Specific basings are yet to be determined and will be a result of internal base transfers and further FlexiCrew permanent job offers being assigned first.
easyJet permanent job offers – Further to FlexiCrew assessments last week a total of 9 permanent easyJet job offers were made and accepted for our FCO base."

As you can read there is no official plan to recruit experienced turboprop/non Airbus rated pilots for year 2012. They have received before deadline more than 200 applications for the ATPL and Airbus rating job offer. Does not sound like a lot, but it is more than double of positions available plus they take in the Parc experienced pilots too.
Sad story and I am sorry
