Emirates and qatar doesnt sponser for anyone, you have to be a citizen of their countries. Only airlines that sponser for any nationals are Etihad and Cathay, Other than these its virtually none. On the other end you can find many countries that have their own sponsorship programmes that are open to only citizens of their country for example Kenya Airways, they sponsor their cadets from ppl to 737 rating. Few years ago I was also sponsored by the educational board of my country along with my airline, and all I had was 3 A levels with BCC grades, no maths and no physics. So as you can see getting sponsored is extremely difficult if you are looking for worldwide opportunities or if you are lucky to be in a country that gives educational sponsors then its a different case. But do try for cathay cadet, I heard they still calling for selections.
