Gulf crew is right.
I took over an A320 last year and the CS (KM) was furious as she had just operated double DXB with 3 crew including herself! I had one more than her and I was a bit miffed!
I also operated a CMB on the A300 when one of the crew went sick in CMB. We were given "special dispensation from DCAM" to operate back to DOH woth 7 crew!
This also happened on a DAC turnaround. Strikes in DAC meant we could not layover. We were "augmented" to 10 cabin crew with a double flight deck. Weather meant diverting to CCU and we were rapidly running out of hours. We were just about to go to a hotel and literally walking off the aircraft ( it was now deemed safe to get to a hotel ) when we were told we HAD to go back to DOH. 21 hours duty..."special dispensation from DCAM"...

Once again. we are not slating the airline...just enlightening people to what is going on in a wonderful country and what could be a wondeful airline...some great loyal people out there!!!
