I suppose this could also affect GA at newcastle. The new airport manager is putting landing fees up to 25 pounds making newcastle the second most expensive place to land in the UK bar Edinburgh.

There are also assumptionas that the new manager wants rid of GA altogether from newcastle, apparently he succeeded at Bristol in removing GA from there and now plans to do exactly the same at newcastle.

These are all speculations but from what ive heard, hes also downgraded the fire service from CAT 1 to Cat 7, layed off about 9 firemen.

There are also speculations that hes planning on building Britannia Airways hangars where the GA hangars are now.

Im not sure if all of these are correct, but from what ive heard around the airport, this seems to be the case.
