You might want to look at some third party survival kits (e.g. 4WD kits) and modify them for your operation. Just don't take advice from that pommy tosser on TV.
Mine changes markedly depending on where I operate. My usual one, though, is 28kgs including two weeks of food....
and there's no water in it!
