SCOTLAND'S biggest
long-haul airline has hinted at further expansion as it celebrated the 65th anniversary of Glasgow-Amsterdam flights yesterday. KLM chief operating officer Pieter Elbers told The Scotsman it aimed to increase Scottish flights to its Dutch hub after adding 20 per cent more this year.
He said the
target was six flights a day - like from Edinburgh - for connecting passengers. That
could mean one more flight from Glasgow
and Aberdeen.
You can tell it's press......"long-haul"???
We'll see whether KLM make any comments specific to ABZ when the Dak rolls up later.
