Friend, If the first job in your life is without a salary, What is the guarantee that you'll ever get appropriately compensated throughout your life. Working without a salary is injustice not only to yourself, But even to thousands of other pilots across the world who are suffering due to lower salaries.
Did you know that the Colgan crash was caused due to pilot fatigue ?
The First Officer had slept in the hotel lounge because she could not afford to rent something as simple as a hotel room for the night.
Mind you, She had quite some hours on the Q400 under her belt.
Do you want yourself, your friends and family to be flown by planes with such pilots ?
Besides, The P2F course is run by crooks who want profits from both sides. Fare paying passengers and even more by people who want to pay for that much sought after RHS.
Please do not encourage such gimmicks otherwise, The next trend will be to pay for your first job in Indian airlines as well. We are already seeing the pay for your own type rating scenario in India.
