Jet Airways would love to grab it. In fact one of the reasons why AI didn't make it was because *A told AI that they would be allowed to join only if the Govt of India gave an undertaking that Jet Air would be allowed to join *A immediately after AIs induction. The Minister of civil aviation obviously did not accept to this.

Under the current circumstances it looks extremely unlikely that the Indian Govt. would allow any Indian carrier to become a part of *A in the near future. With the opposition parties in India blaming the Govt for giving up AIs profitable routes for Pvt carriers the last thing the Govt would want right now is Jet air replacing AI in *A.
