Having completed my entire PPL on hard surfaces, (from 2500ft to 12,000ft
), what are the main differences I'm likely to encounter on my first grass strip flight?
I seem to remember reading that take off runs can be longer/landing runs shorter or is it vice versa? Obviously grass length, and wet or dry are other factors.
Any knowledge to share?
