The LCY 318s have been around for a couple of years now. Assume as they stand idle on the LCY ramp for several hours each day maintenance checks are easy. But as they get longer in the tooth so to speak a bigger maintenance check awaits. So...is this the reason why we see 318s appearing on the BA wants list? Do we need cover for the big jobbie, or are we planning to use Privatair or similar to cover?
