Flight EK424 from Dubai to Perth, which departed Dubai on the 22 July and was diverted to Adelaide due to fog
The post says the flight was going to PER not MEL, that was my query. Do we know if the aircraft made an approach in to Perth and then diverted to ADL or did they get the weather en route and decided it was below limits and went straight to ADL. The mileage would be different in both cases.
Anyway I don't want to split hairs.
