My mum brought me up (actually dragged is probably closer to the point) to allow "ladies first", to always walk on the outside of the pavement and respect my betters, until someone comes along with a better idea it suits me.
Even after 30 plus years, it is still one amazing bit of gear and is on my itinerary for the next family holiday up there.
