Correct me if I'm wrong here, but those Aussie based pilots work according to the local employment acts, thus the LSL. Now lets not forget that these guys have given up the smaller tax threshold in HK and decided to pay more tax but receive better benefits ie: LSL. If I am not mistaken there salary is the same as it would be in HK.
