MM wants guys that are motivated with the right attitude. There are always months when people are low, but he has stated several times that if you want to leave training then he will allow and respect your decision.
trainers are under pressure at the moment and probably will be for along time but he has been the first manager that has tried(not always achieved) to give respect to the trainers. He is constantly battling on behalf of the training department and gets lots of knock backs but he is a realist and picks his fights. Not always on a political basis but what he believes is right or can achieve.
He does not have the authority(or if he does it is often overridden) that goes with his responsibility, however I am glad he is the first SVP that has bridged a gap between departments. Previous managers were so paranoid and protective of their position that they would shy away from the controversial, he does not.
