Maybe not sophisticated, but certainly very professional
Without being too pedantic, I would disagree with the
PR being professional. That's not to say they are not excellent at what they do, however I would not use the word professional.
As successful as Ryanair are, and there's really no denying that. In response to a question as to why FR are so picked upon and bashed, I still believe that it is in part to Michael O'Leary and therefore FR as a company being basically seen as uncouth. I'm sure FR really don't care with nearly 80m tickets sold annually, but this whole rude, uncouth and arrogant persona of the business does seem to lead to more staunch element of detractors. Hence why other low-costs, while maybe not as successful, are much less picked upon.
Constant self-praise, whether a business or another person in any aspect of life, will soon start to grind on people, especially when its so overt and then every little fault will be highlighted to try and bring that person / business back down to earth.
