bp - good point, Belfast must be the only city within the EU Open Skies zone that has two or more airports but no FR. (Apart from Bucharest, but that's a much lower income market - don't think Turkey is in Open Skies?)
Usually, MOL can play one airport off against the other - and sometimes he seems to get a good deal at both (Venice?) / all (BCN & its 'alternatives').
So why not at Belfast - even with its restricted runway, FR still went into BHD before, if only for UK routes. Is there some politics here? I know MOL thinks Derry is in the ROI, but surely FR's first consideration is always to go after the revenue above all else?
