Well I sympathise with the OP.My better half was a 744 skipper with a big European outfit,but absolutely despised the job...he loved the people he worked with,and the flying,but hated all the bull that came with it.Sim instructors who were hell bent on catching you out,checking not training etc. He was offered voluntary redundancy almost 2 years ago and never once looked back. People say "Oh surely you must miss the job?" The answer is definately not! He has never had a moment spare since he stopped working so I say if you can afford to leave-do it!! He looks 10 years younger than mates of the same age who are still there,and is nowhere near as stressed..life really is too short..good luck!
