But seriously now: A heavy 320 (= one close to max LW) doesn't descent very well until you select flaps 2 or select the gear down, and then intercepting the G/S from above will be difficult without exceeding the max allowable descent rates at low alt.
Apparently, I'm not the only or the first one to come up with this remark.
