Did you load the Audio drivers from the disk that came with the Mother board?
Go to Control panel system/system devices/,see it 'Microsoft UAA Bus Driver for High Definition Audio' is there,had similar probs once and it was the UAA Bus driver that was missing,had to download it from somewhere.
