Back in 1980 to 1983, I was flying DC3 VH-MWQ regularly and I recall that it had more than 65,000hrs then. It has since been returned to its original airline rego of VH-MMA and exists in Darwin. By comparison, I flew DC3 VH-EQO in 1970 and it had just on 4000 hrs and was fairly fresh out of the RAAF at the time.
