Lots of people commute at EZY too....there is a system in place -you apply for a "commuter travel letter" - whereby if you are commuting on an EZY route and there is no staff travel available, you can just turn up in uniform at the gate and, seats pending, use said letter for a free ride. I'm not sure if this facility is available for flexi-FO's though.
