There won't be any DEC, there are far too many SFO's waiting for command. At least 110 on the CDP (Command Development Program), consisting of approx. a third of these with a completed PCLA.
You're colleague is winding you up mate. BHX and MAN along with SOU are the most sought after bases. Besides last time DEC happened the ASR's and Flight Safety incidents went through the roof.
People are leaving to go to GulfAir and Aer Lingus for massively better Pay.
