DEC will not happen unless there are no FOs to fill the command spaces. Frankly, that is a long way from happening. The DASH is not a rating other airlines want just yet, unless you are willing to to pay for a TR. How many FOs went to Jet2??? Maybe 2?? When the tap runs dry of pre-rated pilots for other airlines, then maybe we will be back in 2006/7 again. Plenty of FOs are being re-bonded again for 3 years now that the E175s are arriving. So unless they are going to jump bonds, i think the command upgrades will be fed internally for some time.
