This Olympic Holidays / Sky Wings debacle serves to underline why tour operators should have a legal duty to provide proper accurate information on the carrier they are using to transport the customer, and why the customer should consider carefully which carrier they are being booked on when making the decision whether to book with tour operator "A" or "B".
I thought this legislation was already in place, courtesy of Brussels, but clearly, if it is, it isn't either strong enough, or not policed well enough.
