Be very careful. I looked at this before and the way it works is; if you are working under FAR rukes and are flying in an aircraft with another pilot. If you are flying IFR then the second pilot, or safety pilot, can also claim P1. This is an American system. I checked with the CAA and under no circumstances can you do this under JAR rules.
