No it's not! It's a benefit. It's extra. Is your staff car parking space part of your annual wage? Private healthcare? Loss of licence? If I go for a job and they say 'the starting wage is £50k' I don't expect pension contributions to be part of that. You tried to make me look silly by saying I couldn't figure out how an FO makes 50k a year at Jet2 out of a basic wage of £43k. Forgive me for not including pension and benefits in the wage packet. The only thing I do agree with is that money certainly isn't everything and if you're happy then good for you but 60% of your colleagues think otherwise for a reason.
