Oh, and its only 3 ULDs max can be towed because thats the most you can safely get round the corners without mounting the curbs
The rules at BHX say that you can only tow 6 at a time
Can I just clear up one thing. You can tow 3 trailers max each with 2 AKE bins total 6. So you are both kind of right.
When EK first used the 777 around 10 years ago, it was never like this
If there was always enough baggage handlers for every flight, and if you were allowed to just place the bags onto the belt, that would be great and bags would arrive faster. But on certian flights baggage has to be processed by UKBA. The baggage handlers can only go so fast. In an ideal world you would have more UKBA staff, more baggage handlers and bigger/more arrivals belts.
