I've never been a great fan of Lexmark products but their new
X75 looks cool and feels good. It does scanning/printing/faxing - although the last bit is via computer software. It has a relatively small footprint too.
You might want to look at
canon too - in their bubble jet range (aka inkjet) they have one advantage in that the cartridges are separate for each colour so you waste less when it comes to replacing them. The build quality is good and they are easy to use - good ergonomics.
