Sorry to burst your bubble Sir, but if you have bought a ticket to Thailand job hunting, well, cash it in now is my advise. Most of the Float drivers have in the past been Canadian, Aussie or American in Thailand. All baby sitting a local.

Been some interesting, (read sahddy) history from all 2nd hand accounts.

After many failed attempts and owners, my memory was an attempted re launch of Destination Air based at Phuket Airport in mid 2009.

There are no commercial sea planes in Thailand now.

There are also some other threads I believe on owners not paying crews. But I amuse those owners are well and truly out of the picture.
