BWBI: it's difficult to appreciate how it must feel to suddenly not be able to speak, other than terrifying. I was fortunate not to suffer any effects from my "event", although ironically I've had a slight lifetime stammer that did not get worse (or better

I still don't have an explanation for what happened to me (I have none of the usual risk factors) but am waiting for the results of a 24 hour ECG which will determine whether I suffer from arrhythmia.
My discussions with the CAA are not encouraging so I'll be starting another thread about regaining a JAA medical after a TIA or stroke.
