Correct! 9 days off per month is the carrot they give to have you sign for the contract. From there on you have to put up with discrimination, having to play a stupid game as everybody says, but at the end of the day you are left with a frustrating enviroment, having to stay at the 5* prison day in day out (especially on the 737) and being left with a job that creates a lot of stress, and makes flying no fun at all. Not to mention the horrible attitude Korean Union pilots have against expats and the way they pretend to be friendly. Perhaps in India is not like that, and you dont feel the stress one feels in Korea. Having been there I would definetely not recommend KAL to anyone, and I wish I have believed the posts about KAL.
