Here they go again..... Taking this contract from a despicably corrupt airline via a useless, spineless and deceitful agency is asking for exactly what you will receive.
There are enough testimonies on this forum from expats who have worked in these advertised positions that must raise alarm bells in anyone's head.
Your contract is worthless and laughed at as it suits. You will be a cruise relief Capt behind local guys who would not hold a CPL in most other countries. SOP's and little things like CRM or Areas of Responsibility are unknown and unwanted facets in AI's culture.
If you are even considering it for reasons of your own then at the very least get in contact with expat pilots at AI now. Speak with them and then perhaps make a decision. Do not listen to agencies or the airline: unsafe, dangerous, liars, thieves and cheats. Speak to those actually doing it and living in that hell hole of an airline.
These fools have a long history of signing contracts, pilots getting to Mumbai, waiting around for weeks / months then being told they are not wanted or welcomed due a change of policy and NO SALARY paid because you are deemed "unavailable to fly" since you did not receive a FATA or medical clearance as yet. Support from the agency" HA! There's a joke. Rules and policy change at random to line someone's pocket somewhere. There is far too much evidence already.
I sincerely hope no one is in a position to ever need to be aboard at AI aircraft.
