I recieved the following from Amy on 24th September
"Dear All
Thank you for your support. After meeting some of you on 14 September, I contacted the Transport Department. I was given to understand that the tunnel was allowed to operate around the clock.
However, the bus company does not have shuttle buses during 1:30 am to 5:00 am. This is contrary to what was stated in HKR¡¦s advertisement.
I filed a complaint to the Consumer Council. The latter has written to HKR asking for explanation. During the last few days, some DB residents also wrote to SCMP. These have put some pressure on HKR. The latest information is that HKR is now applying to Transport Department for 4 trips to and 4 trips from the Airport via Tung Chung. So we better wait for further development before our signature campaign.
