If you take a look at the first footnote reference in the article by Alan Benson and John Ernsting, both then doctors at the RAF Institute of Aviation Medicine at Farnborough, you may find some useful information.

The Institute had many years experience with aircrew airsickness and had developed de-sensitising subjects to a fine art. Although I can still recall Alan Benson secreting a bucket behind his back when the subject was in the final stages of the training on the spin table!

It might be worth Googling... Doctor Alan Benson...RAF IAM air sickness or something similar and see what comes up. (No pun intended!).
