Looks like United States FAA Pilot License is highly remarkable and valuable in Singapore!

Basically CAAS see the FAA license as holding insufficient theoretical knowledge.
FAA ATPL holders will have to do:
- Air Law
- A320 Tech (if you already have the rating, but only if you have less then 2,000hrs on type)
- Human Performance
- Aircraft Performance (This one has had a lot of FAA guys crashing and burning, it is the hardest by far. Don't under estimate it.)
btw JAR to CAAS:
- Only have to sit Air Law
On the Class 1 medical, you MUST get the last two medical reports. No way round it. They do ask for last two ECGs and last chest X-ray, but after I handed the two medical reports over they said it was sufficient. Further note, it takes on average three weeks for them to issue the initial Class 1 medical.
