I would look on the air cadets website and locate your nearest VGS SQN. Become a CGI and you can get a TMG rating in your blue book. This will revalidate your SEP rating. All logable hours for when the time comes to enter your totals and send the last page of the logbook in. Ok its VFR flying, but keeping those stick skills up and having the tax payer foot the bill, even for your petrol to the SQN, better than forking out for it. I would add to this flying with the occasional trip 'under the hood' at own expense.
