I recently heard from a reliable source that the total number of crew members that had their Staff Travel removed was c 5700. The last two strike ballots had c5700 votes in favour, coincidence? So this suggests that we are down to the hardcore BASSA supporters that are the problem in reolsving the dispute. It also suggests (no more than suggests) that the dispute could be solved reasonably easily by returning ST - it is a symbolic item that would cost very little. So this also suggests that BA are relatively happy with the dispute rumbling on rather than give BASSA even a hint of a win. BASSA really need to think about this sort of stuff.
