Cdr C W Byas RN MAEE Helensburgh. This aircraft was captured in Norway on 8 April 1940 after forced landing near Lyngstad when running short of fuel. Operated briefly by unit FA2 of the Royal Norwegian Navy, it was then flown to Helensburgh via Sullom Voe and Leuchars, arriving on 24 April 1940. Handling trial. Approached too fast to land over flat calm water, held off too high, stalled, struck the water, overturned and sank at Rhu Dumbarton. 2 injured. Cat 5
