The Trent 892 does seem to have pretty bad IFSD rate, especially with airlines operate in warmer climate. In particular, Thai's Trent 892 on the B777-300 fleet has a IFSD above 0.04 per 1,000 EFHs. That is, it's more than twice the rate allowed for 180-minute ETOPS (0.02), or slightly below that of 120-minute ETOPS (0.05). Thai chose to suspend their ETOPS unilaterally.
