Trent 892 which is the version used on the EK 777-200ER's has a bad record when compared to the GE90.
It does? Don't forget there are a lot more Trents around than GE90s and the GE90 failures don't seem to make the press.
Having said that the '90 usually only spend a couple of weeks on wing before they're pulled for one reason or another
