Also, you can fly by the grand canyon, Sedona arizona has dramatic scenery coming into the airport, and if you fly from Tucson to Gila Bend at night on a weekday, there's a chance that you can see fighter planes in the restricted area doing lights out training, only recognizable by the flares they eject.
