Yes, most contracts need 500 hours in Type, so it is going to be tough to get a A320 contract.
Quick question: The company paid for your Type Rating and then cut you loose so quickly? Or did you pay for the Type Rating and are now out some serious cash? I don't get it. What kind of contract did you sign when you flew this 100 or so hours in the A320? Do you have a plan for getting your money back that you invested in the A320 rating...maybe get a lawyer or something..?
