For nothing
Dear Colleagues,
Recently some Skippers made the way to Seoul and spent some precious time for nothing there.
They had to learn that they are not accepted because of some physical condition that ecxludes them for a first class medical in Korea but not in US, CA, EU and some other Aviation Authorities. We are talking about the Laser surgery here. A few years back they started with that and even disqualified people who had worked there before but have had a Laser surgery earlier. Same if You have Gall Stones, get rid of them and then you are eligable.
The pitty is that the Agents (should) know about it and tried if the Guy slicks thru and the commission is achieved. It is a conflict of interest I would rather say.
Just some heads up for the rest of us, nothing changed. Look how often you see the Adverts from all Agents here to grab some Pilots and place them there despite the shortcomings they know. How do you call such People ????
