Too much time on the net and not enough of a life, have we? Scared that civvies might be interested in what we do and might want to know more? Afraid of building up credibility for your service instead of perhaps being regarded as spongers of the state? Why don't you try to be friendly to them as you never really know who it is asking, or were you born with a brevet up your backside and dont remember yourself in their position?
Personally, I don't mind the stupid questions as I do remember when I was in that position, with no internet or site to ask the people in the job your burning questions. I have had a few e mail me direct as they have feared that they would be flamed alive for posting in this forum due to the few master race who feel that they don't belong. I suspect they don't get the answers on the wannabes forum because we dont surf the wannabes enough - what makes you think we would with a seperate mil forum?
Do you think I enjoy reading about which heavy lift jet or which desert hotel is the best or who doesn't get paid enough but thinks they should or who wants to go outside because they spend too much time whinging? I blimmen don't so I don't click on the topic.
