We do similar hrs to you probably a few less and the beauty of my job is that we do the flight and then knock off so say I do a five hr flight duty is say 6 hrs. No waiting around under the wing at a remote strip all day while pax do their business.
Also get roughly double the salary compared to charter, for less time at work.
I believe we need to look at money for duty hrs, as well as flying hrs.
The more time an individual is at work the more they should be paid. Simple as that.
