Appreciate all of the responses thusfar - and invite any additional comments. I am happy to hear that a broad variety of backgrounds are being considered at both operators. I am well aware of Cargolux's difficult/selective screening process but less familiar with AeroLogic and its process.
I recall from an early thread that AeroLogic initially seemed to favor people with specific backgrounds and experience (i.e., former LTU pilots because the CP was a former LTU A330 Captain). That may have been only at the beginning and not be the case now.
Two questions. Can anyone speak to the potential fleet growth at AeroLogic going forward? I realise AeroLogic is related to LH and that may constrain growth without LH pilot participation. Also, for AeroLogic and Cargolux newhires, what would an average month look like in terms of days away from home while on newhire reserve?
